Land Acknowledgment

As a virtual healthcare provider, my practice operates across borders and connects with individuals throughout Turtle Island.

I physically live, work, and provide care from Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton), situated on Treaty 6 Territory. This land is the traditional home and gathering place for diverse Indigenous Peoples, including the nêhiyaw (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Dene, Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Nakota Isga (Nakota Sioux), and the homeland of the Métis Nation.

Through the reach of virtual care, I am deeply privileged to support clients residing across the vast traditional and treaty lands of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. This expansive network encompasses:

  • Saskatchewan: The traditional territories of Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, and the homeland of the Métis.

  • Manitoba: The original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anisininewuk, Dakota Oyate, and Dene, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

  • Ontario: The ancestral territories covered by 46 treaties and agreements, home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.

I recognize that the historical and systemic impacts of colonialism directly influence health inequities today. In my clinical work, I am committed to fostering an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment that honors the enduring presence, resilience, and wisdom of Indigenous peoples. I strive to provide care that respects the unique cultural identities and histories of all individuals I serve, moving forward together in a collective spirit of truth, healing, and reconciliation.
